Professor
Yimmy Alejandro Martinez, one of our full-time teachers from the
Language Department is participating at the Olympic Games Paris 2024 as a
volunteer, it is a great honor to be part of the people who will help
the world unite through sports, good luck to our teacher.
The
Olympic games volunteer program is open all around the world, the only
requirement you need for participating is to know languages or at least
one language different from your mother tongue. The Olympic Committee
usually have a selection process that it is done online, and it is not
complicated, you only need the will to participate and languages.
This
is the second time professor Yimmy Alejandro participates in this
experience, he had the chance to go to Rio 2016 and today he is in Paris
2024, thanks to his ability to speak Spanish, English and French.
As
professor Yimmy Alejandro explained, this is not only the opportunity
to be part of one of the greatest events around the world, but also the
chance to meet people from all the different countries in the planet.
